The party loaded up the ship in the dungeon under Tower of Zenopus.
As they were leaving, Bride told her story (Bride’s Story)— she thought it was important that the party understand who she was.
She explained that she knew that some of the party were suspicious of her, and she feared that they might toss her in the ocean on the journey back to Saltmarsh.
She explained that if she doesn’t taste blood she could fall into a deep hibernation. This was why she had her “husbands” try crazy things–so she could eat.
Captain Kriick led the party on a sailing adventure, and after hitting the shore a couple of times as well as a whale (which caused River to fall from the crow’s nest), the party made it back to Saltmarsh.
They took the kids to the Pierce family home and refused the reward, instead asking the Pierce family to care for the two orphans until more permanent arrangements could be made.
Mrs. Pierce thanked Alma and Kriick, and gave Kriick a white goose feather for his hat.
The rest of the party encountered Skerrin. He explained that Andy was being manipulated by Gellan Primewater, who Skerrin claimed was trying to take over the Solmor business so he could basically run everything in town.
McBride confirmed that he had the town watch keeping an eye Keledek’s tower ever since the party left. There was a false report of Keledek being seen at the Empty Net but the party found no evidence that he was there or had been there recently.
They met a wizard of the Red Tower who got upset when Argone flipped over his White Stag meal, a rare dish.
Andy Solmor and Skerrin each asked the party separately to restore the Solmor Estate. Andy, because he wanted to restore the family name and get away from the slaving past, and Skerrin, because he believed that if Andy tried himself, he would be killed and the Solmor family name would end as both his mother and father were dead.
The party decided to leave town by ship, taking Keledek with them, and come back in a few days to see if there were any Keledek sightings in the meantime.
